Synagie Launches Geene 2.0 AI Platform with Twelve Industry Partners Including BytePlus and SingData

Synagie, the flagship digital commerce and technology brand of Hong Kong-listed Synagistics Limited (HKEX: 2562), unveiled Geene 2.0 on July 28, 2026, introducing a Trusted AI Commerce Intelligence Ecosystem designed to help businesses move beyond isolated AI applications towards scalable business transformation.

The platform launch, witnessed by Guest-of-Honour Mr Desmond Tan, Senior Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office and Deputy Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress, brings together more than 200 business leaders, ecosystem partners, customers and invited guests in Singapore.

Synagistics Limited, which completed Hong Kong's first De-SPAC transaction in October 2024, serves more than 600 brand partners and ranks among the top ten digital solutions providers in Southeast Asia. The company's latest platform addresses a critical challenge facing organisations today: while many have adopted AI for content generation, analytics and workflow automation, these capabilities often operate independently, making it difficult to translate intelligence into measurable business outcomes while maintaining governance and accountability.

Collaborative Development Model

Geene 2.0 was co-developed by twelve founding partners, each contributing specialized expertise across data, artificial intelligence, commerce, media and blockchain. The founding partners include BytePlus, China Mobile International, DataCloud, DU-MAS, FLY Entertainment, International Brand Centre, Masverse, Mei Ah Entertainment, SingData, Synagie, Yiwise and Zeneva.

BytePlus, ByteDance's enterprise technology division launched in 2021 and headquartered in Singapore, provides AI-powered technologies and cloud infrastructure to businesses outside China. In May 2026, Synagistics announced a partnership with BytePlus to integrate BytePlus AI technologies, including Skylark large language models, into the Geene platform, initially focusing on Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.

Rather than relying on a single vendor, Geene 2.0 combines best-in-class technologies into one coordinated platform, enabling enterprises to deploy AI faster while reducing implementation complexity.

Five-Layer Intelligence Architecture

At the heart of the platform is the proprietary ASSET intelligence engine, which orchestrates AI-driven commerce through five interconnected layers. The Analyse layer transforms market, customer and business data into actionable intelligence. The Strategise layer recommends AI-driven commercial strategies and business decisions. The Storytelling layer generates multilingual marketing, commerce and customer content. The Execute layer automates commerce operations, customer engagement and sales workflows. The Trust layer verifies products, AI actions and business claims through blockchain-backed traceability.

These five intelligence layers transform AI from standalone tools into a coordinated business capability spanning insight, execution and trust.

Commercial Implementation

Geene 2.0 has already moved beyond concept into commercial deployment through AGONG Durian, a premium Malaysian durian brand supplied and blockchain-tagged by founding partner DU-MAS. The implementation demonstrates how AI-powered market intelligence, content creation, commerce automation and blockchain verification can operate together in a real business environment to improve operational efficiency while strengthening consumer confidence.

The platform will be commercially available in early August 2026. The same framework can be applied across industries including retail, manufacturing, healthcare, consumer goods and luxury products where authenticity, compliance and trust have become increasingly important.

Government Support and Market Context

The launch comes at a time of rapid AI adoption growth in Singapore. According to IMDA's Singapore Digital Economy Report 2025, AI adoption among Singapore SMEs tripled from 4.2% to 14.5% in 2024, while non-SME adoption rates jumped from 44% to 62.5%. In February 2026, Singapore announced a National AI Council chaired by Prime Minister Lawrence Wong to coordinate AI strategy across research, regulation, talent development and industry adoption.

Singapore's Budget 2026 introduced a 400% tax deduction on qualifying AI expenditure, capped at S$50,000 per year for years of assessment 2027 and 2028, under the enhanced Enterprise Innovation Scheme, making AI adoption more financially attractive for businesses.

Companies seeking digital solutions like Geene 2.0 may explore implementation through the NTUC Company Training Committee (CTC) initiative. The CTC Grant, part of a S$300 million government commitment running from 2022 to 2028, offers eligible companies up to 70% funding support for projects that drive business transformation and workforce outcomes, including job redesign, skills development and productivity improvements. Since February 2019, NTUC has established over 2,700 Company Training Committees, exceeding its original target of 2,500 CTCs by 2025, with nearly 6,000 workers across about 260 companies benefiting from approved CTC Grants as of November 2024.

Workers could also benefit from wage increases, structured career pathways and skills allowances. Synagie is collaborating with the Singapore Industrial and Services Employees' Union to strengthen AI readiness for its workers, including PMEs.

Industry Perspective

Ms Pei Gy Wong, Chief Digital Officer of Synagie Group Asia and Europe, said the next generation of AI will be led by companies that can build the greatest trust.

Businesses do not need more AI tools. They need AI they can trust to make better decisions, execute with confidence and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Wong emphasized that Geene 2.0 reflects the belief that the future of enterprise AI lies in collaboration.

By bringing together industry leaders across data, AI, commerce, media and blockchain, we are giving businesses a practical pathway to adopt AI with confidence and at scale.

As enterprise AI adoption accelerates across Asia, Synagie positions the next phase of innovation as being defined by trusted ecosystems rather than standalone AI applications. By combining intelligence, execution and accountability in one platform, Geene 2.0 provides businesses with a foundation to scale AI confidently while positioning Singapore as a leader in responsible enterprise AI innovation.
